Enforcement Light
A secondary view of the red signal.

At a signalized intersection, an officer positioned on a perpendicular approach may not be able to see the red signal facing cross traffic.
Mounted atop the signal head using a Sky Bracket mount, the blue MicroLED illuminates at the same time as the red signal—giving the officer a clear visual reference for identifying vehicles that enter the intersection against the light.
- Red signal controls the vehicle approach
- Blue MicroLED confirms the red phase to the officer
- Red-light enforcement
- Traffic-signal state indication
- Signal-preemption status indication
- ITS and traffic-control cabinet indication
The Enforcement Light provides a visual indication for human observation. It does not independently detect violations or control the traffic signal.
Quoted on the 490 ½" female pipe mount, L / OrdLoc, in either voltage family and any of the six colors. Mounting Bracket Included.
One platform. Four questions to answer.
Both applications share one hardware platform; ratings and options depend on the selected model. The Industrial MicroLED is offered in every mount and category shown here. Enforcement Light quotes use the 490 L / OrdLoc model in either voltage family and any of the six colors.

View certificationsProduct description
The Industrial MicroLED is a compact LED signal beacon with the form and fit of TOMAR's existing 300-series MicroLED. The principal differences between the Industrial MicroLED and the existing MicroLED are AC-voltage capability, low-inrush circuitry, a wider range of colors, and selectable steady-burn or flashing operation controlled by a third wire.

Three steps from selection to verified installation.
- 1
Confirm requirements
Confirm the available supply (24 VAC/DC or 120–240 VAC) and the site and application requirements, including any hazardous-location classification.
- 2
Choose the configuration
Select the mount, product category, and color, and decide whether the application needs steady-burn or flashing indication.
- 3
Install and verify
Have a trained installer mount and wire the unit using the correct instructions and applicable codes, then test the system after installation.
Wiring
| Conductor | Connection |
|---|---|
| Black | Line voltage |
| White | Neutral |
| RED (steady-burn) | Neutral or not connected |
| RED (flashing) | Line |
